It all began with a passion for craftsmanship.
“Teacher Claire,” the founder of Claire Crochet Couture and a craft instructor, has always been passionate about sewing, embroidery, knitting, crochet, and handmade crafts. She has continuously explored, learned, and experimented with different forms of handicraft through workshops and hands-on experiences.
Along the way, she discovered what she loved most — crocheting raffia bags
What makes raffia bags special to Claire is their unique blend of fashion, a touch of vintage charm, and creative crochet craftsmanship. Every piece requires skill, patience, attention to detail, and imagination — qualities that make handmade work truly special.
Her passion for fashion and handicrafts, both in Thailand and around the world, gradually inspired a dream:
“To create raffia bags for fashion brands and share the beauty of craftsmanship with others.”
Beyond creating her own collections, Claire is also passionate about sharing her knowledge and experience in sewing, embroidery, knitting, and crochet with anyone who is interested — from children to adults.
Whether they learn for fun, as a creative hobby, or as a potential career, she believes that everyone can discover the joy of creating something with their own hands.
For Claire, happiness is not only about creating beautiful pieces herself.
It is also about seeing her students patiently create something of their own — and watching their faces light up when they proudly take their handmade creations home.

จากความหลงใหลในงานฝีมือของ “ครูแคลร์” เจ้าของแบรนด์ Claire Crochet Couture และครูสอนงานฝีมือ ผู้ที่ชื่นชอบงานเย็บ ปัก ถัก ร้อย และไม่เคยหยุดเรียนรู้
ครูแคลร์เข้าเวิร์กชอปและทดลองเรียนงาน Handicraft มาแล้วหลากหลายรูปแบบ จนในที่สุดได้ค้นพบสิ่งที่ตัวเองรักมากที่สุด นั่นคือ “การถักกระเป๋าราเฟีย”
เสน่ห์ของกระเป๋าราเฟียสำหรับครูแคลร์ คือความเป็นแฟชั่นที่มีกลิ่นอายวินเทจ ผสมผสานกับความสร้างสรรค์ของงานโครเชต์ ซึ่งเป็นงานฝีมือที่ต้องอาศัยทักษะ ความประณีต และจินตนาการของผู้ทำ
จากความชอบส่วนตัวที่ติดตามเทรนด์แฟชั่นและงานฝีมือทั้งในประเทศไทยและต่างประเทศมาโดยตลอด จึงค่อย ๆ กลายเป็นความฝันว่า...
“อยากสร้างสรรค์กระเป๋าราเฟียให้กับแบรนด์แฟชั่น และส่งต่อเสน่ห์ของงานฝีมือให้กับคนอื่น”
นอกจากการสร้างสรรค์ผลงานของตัวเองแล้ว ครูแคลร์ยังตั้งใจถ่ายทอดประสบการณ์ด้านงานเย็บ ปัก ถัก ร้อย ให้กับผู้ที่สนใจ ไม่ว่าจะเป็นเด็กหรือผู้ใหญ่ และสามารถเรียนรู้เพื่อนำไปต่อยอดเป็นทั้ง งานอดิเรกหรืออาชีพ ได้
เพราะสำหรับครูแคลร์ ความสุขไม่ได้อยู่แค่การได้สร้างผลงานด้วยตัวเอง
แต่คือการได้เห็นผู้เรียนค่อย ๆ ลงมือทำด้วยตัวเอง จนกลายเป็นผลงานที่สามารถนำกลับบ้านได้ด้วยความภาคภูมิใจ
